Poonia, Sudha visit Radha Krishna Temple

London: India`s star athletes Krishna Poonia and Sudha Singh today visited the famous Radha Krishna Temple at Stratford here to seek blessings for their success in the London Olympic Games which begins today.

The temple is just a short walk from the Games Village. "I have worked very hard and with the blessings of Gods, I can certainly achieve me goals. I felt peaceful and confident after visiting Radha Krishna Temple," Poonia said. "I prayed for the success of the Indian athletes and I am confident that we will win plenty of medals," she added. Head priest of the temple performed `Mantra Uccharan` for their success and offered holy red threads to them as a symbol of blessing and protection. PTI
