Second dry ice explosion in bathroom at LA Airport within two days
A day after a dry ice bomb in a bathroom at Los Angeles International Airport delayed four flights, another similar explosion was reported to have taken place at the airport`s Tom Bradley international Terminal on Monday.

Los Angeles: A day after a dry ice bomb in a bathroom at Los Angeles International Airport delayed four flights, another similar explosion was reported to have taken place at the airport`s Tom Bradley international Terminal on Monday.
In a blast that was very similar to that on Sunday evening, the dry ice explosion took place after 8: 30 pm on Monday night in a bathroom at Tom Bradley international Terminal, which was inaugurated very recently in September and cost approximately $1.9 billion.
The bomb squad had reached the spot and also the criminla conspiracy division of teh Los Angeles Police Department were assisting in the probe, reports said.
LAPD Detective Gus Villanueva said that the incident was not believed to be linked to terrorism.
Yesterday`s blast is being investigated by the FBI but no one has been arrested.
Earlier, the blast took place on Sunday evening in a bathroom at terminal 2, which was authorized only for the employees and was not accessible to the common public.
The incidents of dry ice bomb explosion are not new as earlier in May, a Disneyland employee was arrested in California on the suspicion of having planted dry ice bomb in a dustbin at a theme park.
Dry ice is the solid form of Carbon Dioxide and is used as a cooling agent.
A dry ice bomb generally consists of pieces of dry ice kept in a plastic bottle, which explodes as the dry ice sublimates into gas, increasing the pressure inside the bottle and causing the explosion.
