Former Yazidi sex slaves claim Kayla Mueller was tortured, killed by Islamic State

Istanbul: Former Yazidi sex slaves have claimed that American hostage Kayla Mueller was killed not in a Jordanian air strike but by the Islamic State.

Chilling details have been revealed by the Yazidi girls who spent months as sex slaves in the captivity of Islamic State leaders and fighters.

As per a report in the BBC, a sex slave kept by IS second in command Hajji Muttaz – who was later killed in a US strike – told her that the drone story was “stupid” and Mueller was killed by IS fighters.

Another former sex slave, who had spent time with Mueller in the house Abu Sayyaf, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's close friend and the man incharge of the oil revenues of the caliphate, claimed that Mueller was tortured and had her fingernails pulled out to force her to accept Islam.

They further claimed that Mueller never really converted but started to offer prayers as she feared she would also be beheaded like other foreign nationals.

Then one night Bagdadi called for Mueller. When she came back to the room where yazidi girls were kept, Mueller told them that the IS chief had taken her as her fourth wife and raped her.

One of the Yazidi slaves said that she had seen Baghdadi rape Mueller three-four times, adding that the American never resisted as he would beat her.

The girls said that when they planned their escape they asked Mueller to accompany them but she refused saying that her presence in her group would make them more vulnerable to being caught again.

The girls said they can never forget Mueller and the care and support she gave them during their darkest hour.
