This one was on the leg side and Ashraful moves towards the off stump and smacks it towards fine leg where the fielder puts in a dive but the ball beats him to go for a SIX. This one is much fuller and Ashraful puts his bat down just in time to stop the ball from going on to hit the stumps. Ashraful gets a single off the first ball. Islam gets a single off the fourth ball. This one is short and Ashraful pulls it and gets the ball in the gap for three runs. This one is a slower ball yorker and Islam gets it away for a single to deep square leg. Islam flicks one from his pads through to fine leg for a four. This time he picks tha ball from around middle stump and gets it away for a boundary towards mid wicket. This one is driven through covers for a single. Ashraful flicks the ball to fine leg and takes a single. This time the ball takes Islam's pads and goes past the fielder at fine leg and the batsmen get two runs. Angelo Mathews strikes this time. This was a peach of a delivery and beat Islam all ends up as the ball crashes on to the stumps. Thisara Perera pulls this one for a boundary. The next one is a slower ball and a short one too and Perera pulls it off the front foot this time and this one goes for a SIX. The next one is wide outside off stump and Perera gets some bat on it and the ball goes above the man at short third man for another boundary. This one is further wide outside off stump and this time Perera cannot get his bat to it. Batsmen take off for a single but the fielder pulls off a direct hit and the umpire goes upstairs. Replays show that the batsman was safe. Another one down the leg side and the batsmen take two runs. The next ball is hit high towards mid wicket but the two fielders make a mess of it and the ball goes for a boundary. Bangladesh have been terrible on the field today. Singles taken off the rest of the deliveries. Razzak continues. Mendis pulls off a fantastic sweep shot and hits it for a SIX. This time he backs off a little and hits the ball on the off side this time for another SIX. Single taken off the next ball. Mathews attempts a sweep as well but the ball hits the pads and the batsmen scamper through for a single. Sri Lanka need to consolidate here and they have experienced batsmen in the middle to do that. Mendis was struggling there and a direct hit would have had him. Even Perera has been tied up and has not been able to hit boundaries at will. Sohag and Razzak have been very good with their line and length. Singles are coming frequently but Bangladesh won’t mind that. Its the boundaries that will bother them and they have managed to check that. Perera goes down the wicket and smashes it over deep mid wicket for a SIX. That will loosen the shackles a bit. Cuts one hard off the fifth ball but the ball goes straight to the fielder. Bangladesh have got the big wicket this time. Perera tries to cut one again and gets a thin edge which is taken well by the keeper. Bowls two decent bowls and no run is scored off both. The third ball is wide down the leg side and the keeper misses it too as the ball goes for a boundary. Munaweera tries to flick one off his hips on the leg side but the ball hurries on to the batsman who scamper through for a single.
