London: American twins Bob and Mike Bryan created history on Saturday as they defeated Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo to become the first pair to hold all four Grand Slam doubles titles simultaneously in the Open era.
Bryan brothers, who are also the reigning Olympic champions, bounced back after losing the first set, and registered 3-6 6-3 6-4 6-4 victory on Centre Court.
Notably, Ken McGregor and Frank Sedgman are the only other team to win all four Grand Slam titles in the same year, in 1951.
