Turkish pilots kidnapped in Beirut

Beirut: Two Turkish pilots were kidnapped in Beirut early on Friday by gunmen as they were heading to a hotel in the Lebanese capital.

Local media said a pilot and his co-pilot were on their way to Beirut`s Ain Mreisseh seafront when their bus was intercepted at a bridge, reports Xinhua. A Lebanese security source told Xinhua that the police had taken the bus driver for questioning. IANS
