Barcelona yet to discuss new contract with Messi

Barcelona: Andoni Zubizarreta has cleared up speculation regarding a possible renewal of Lionel Messi`s Barcelona contract by insisting that no negotiations have taken place yet.

The Argentine superstar`s current deal expires in 2016 and he has repeatedly stated his desire to see out the remainder of his career at the club, but the former Spain international goalkeeper revealed that talks regarding an extension are yet to begin.
