Yokohama (Japan): Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe Sunday demanded that Africa be allotted a permanent seat in the UN Security Council.

The president was referring to a planned meeting Monday between Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and African leaders on Security Council reforms.
