Samsung's mobiles division head apologizes for Galaxy Note 7, vows to ‘restore trust of consumers’

New Delhi: Samsung Mobile division's chief Dong-Jin Koh earnestly apologised for the damages caused by the Galaxy Note 7 and assured to "restore trust of consumers”.

As per the local daily Korean Herald, Koh said the company “would at any cost find the exact cause (behind the Galaxy Note 7 battery issues) to restore trust of consumers so that they can use Samsung products without any safetyconcerns.”

Koh has received staunch support from hardcore Samsung supporters and employees which he expressed gratitude towards them at the press conference.

Samsung halted production and global sale of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 after it was allegedly found to have caused many accidents involving battery explosion.

The tech company has recalled all Galaxy Note 7 units shipped, and is either replacing the returned units with other devices like the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge or refunding buyers.
