New Delhi: Indian boxing sensation Vijender Singh is aiming to make it 10-0 in the double title defence showdown against African champion Ernest Amuzu from Ghana.

Vijender will be defending his WBO Oriental and Asia Pacific Super middleweight titles at Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur on December 23.

The pugilist won these titles after winning six bouts abroad and three in India. This bout will be Vijender`s fourth in the country.

On the other hand, Amuzu holds a good record of 25 fights with 23 wins (21 Knockouts), and two loss having played 122 rounds of professional boxing.

Amuzu has recently threatened the Indian of leaving him "beaten and broken" in the bout.

Vijender has accepted the African`s challenge and said he would knock Amuzu out in the early rounds.

Reacting to Amuzu`s threat, Vijender said, "I know this is a mind game and before this all my nine opponents have tried the same strategy, but I am always focused on my training. Let Ernest do this trash talk, but I am working hard doing 10 rounds of sparring daily with different boxers".

"My trainers Lee Beard and John Joyce are in India, and we have watched videos of Ernest. My previous opponent was southpaw (boxing stance) and now Ernest is orthodox, so I have worked a lot on changing my technique accordingly," he added.

This will be Vijender`s last fight of 2017 and the Indian wishes to end the year on a winning note that too with a knockout win.
