Today, that is on Wednesday (Feb 23), Bappi Lahiri's family members kept a prayer’s meet in remembrance of him in Juhu.
Family, friends and prominent members from Bollywood bid a tearful adieu to legendary singer-composer Bappi Da.

He passed away on February 15
Legendary singer -composer Bappi Lahiri passed away on February 15, leaving his fans and loved ones in utter shock.
He was extremely loved by everyone
The mortal remains of the 'Disco King' were taken in a truck decorated with flowers from his residence to Pawan Hans cremation ground for the last rites.
He was not well for quite sometime now
For the unversed, he was discharged from the hospital a few days back. However, his condition worsened and was brought back to the hospital.
Bappi Da passed away at 69
Unfortunately, he passed away at the age of 69, at around 11.45 pm on Feb 15.
Bollywood was in deep shock
Vidya Balan, Alka Yagnik, Shaan, Ila Arun, Lalit Pandit, Rupali Ganguly, and Mika Singh among others were also present at the funeral to offer their condolences.
He was famous for his gold chains which he used to always wear
As Bappi Lahiri loved wearing gold chains and a pair of sunglasses, his family members did not forget to adorn him with his signature style for one last time.
