Mumbai: Prabhas starrer Saaho is one of the most anticipated upcoming films. Directed by Sujeeth Reddy, Saaho, a futuristic action film promises to showcase some death defying action sequences and jaw-dropping visual effects.

Soon after the first half of SS Rajamouli’s two-part magnum opus hit the silverscreen in 2015, Prabhas became a household name pan India. And after the roaring success of Baahubali: The Conclusion, Prabhas became an icon of sorts and nation’s heartthrob.

After having invested five years of his career to do justice to a magnum opus like Baahubali, Prabhas will be seen on screen for the first time in Saaho, which will co-star Bollywood beauty Shraddha Kapoor. Fans of the hunk of an actor are eagerly looking forward to the release of the film. And if the latest buzz is anything to go by, Saaho will release on Diwali next year.

According to a report in India.com, a source said, “There have been reports that Saaho is aiming for a Diwali release but then we also heard that since the shoot is still on and the VFX in the slick entertainer will require additional time on the editing table, it might get pushed to 2019. But word is that director Sujeeth and production house UV Creations are determined to finish the project on time and release the film in 2018 itself.”

Saaho, which is currently being shot in Dubai, also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Mahesh Manjrekar, Tinu Anand and Mandira Bedi.

Prabhas had made women fans go weak in the knees by essaying an awe-inspiring character like Amarendra Baahubali in Baahubali: The Conclusion. The hunk of a superstar has an ocean of fan following and it includes a huge percentage of female admirers.
