Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar to have a private wedding on Feb 26--Deets inside

Television's favourite lovebirds Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are all set to take their relationship to the next level. The couple will tie the knot on February 26 at Shoaib's hometown Bhopal, among close relatives and friends only.

A source close to the couple, told Indian Express, “Shoaib and Dipika, both wanted a very personalised affair. Being quite private people, they chose to have the ceremonies in Bhopal to avoid the constant media attention. Also, with Shoaib’s family residing there, it helped them in organising a grand yet a close-knit wedding. Only the closest of the friends have been invited but the rest would get to wish the newlyweds in a reception in Mumbai, the dates of which haven’t been fixed yet.”

Shoaib and Dipika have recently travelled to Bhopal for their wedding and they will have a traditional Muslim wedding. The romantic couple also posted a series of pictures in which they have re-created the iconic Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge moment.

Both Dipika and Shoaib met each other seven years back on the sets of 'Sasural Simar Ka'. They were seen playing the lead roles in the TV show. Dipika and Shoaib hail from different faiths but that didn't come between their relationship. Both their families are very fond of Dipika and Shoaib and recently, the actress even launched a fashion line named after Shoaib’s mother, Sitaara.

During an interview with Indian Express in November, Dipika had confirmed that marriage is on the cards.

On the work front, Dipika is seen as a comedian in Entertainment Ki Raat and will also be seen in JP Dutta’s Paltan, while Shoaib made his comeback on 'Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai'.
