New Delhi: Day 8 of the XX Commonwealth Games will have 25 gold medals at stake. For India, the four gold medals available in wrestling will be of huge importance as there are hardly any other sporting events where the subcontinental giants can hope to win medals. And leading the charge will be Yogeshwar Dutt. After disappointment in the team event, Indian shuttlers will look to salvage some pride in the individuals and doubles outing with round of 16 clashes scheduled for today. Parupalli Kashyap, Gurusai Datt, Srikanth Kidambi, P. C. Thulasi and PV Sindhu will be action. Despite a limited fielding, India`s track and field athletes will hope to open their medal count with Vikas Gowda making it to the finals in men`s Discus Throw. Indian gymnast Ashish Kumar will be action in various routines as he carries the hope of whole country in the gymnasium.
