New Zealand: Over: 86.4 II Score: 211/10 (F/O) ( Patel 0*)

That’s it! Dale Steyn finishes the proceedings with the wicket of Wagner. It was a short one from the pacer and Watling went for a pull. He mistimed it and ended up edging it to the wicketkeeper. He scored 4 (13b, 4X1)

New Zealand: Over: 85.3 II Score: 207/9 (F/O) ( Wagner 0*, Patel 0*)

Trent Boult’s attempt to upper cut a short one from Morkel results in a catch at point to Peterson. SA are just one wicket away from crushing the Kiwis. He scored 3 (5b).

New Zealand: Over: 84.2 II Score: 204/8 (F/O) ( Wagner 0*, Boult 0*)

Another one bites the dust! SA are in a hurry to wrap the proceedings! Pitched on the middle and it swings away. Bracewell had to play it and the result was an edge that flew to Peterson at third slip. He was out for a duck.

New Zealand: Over: 82.4 II Score: 203/7 (F/O) (Bracewell 0*, Wagner 0*)

Dale Steyn ends Watling’s resistance! Angled in and it sneaks past his bat to crash on the off stump. He scored 63 (117b, 4X11).

New Zealand: Over: 81.5 II Score: 203/6 (F/O) (Watling 63*, Bracewell 0*)

Munro has been caught at third slip by Peterson off Morkel! He scored 15 (25b, 4X3). SA have struck with the new ball. The Kiwis are six wickets down. Can SA wrap up the proceedings in the first session itself?

New Zealand: Over: 76.1 II Score: 182/5 (F/O) (Watling 57*, Munro 0*)

And Kallis has removed Brownlie! A full length delivery and Brownlie failed to control his temptation. The result was an edge that was safely taken by De Villiers. He scored 53 (141b, 4X8).
====================================================================================

New Zealand: Over: 74 II Score: 178/4 (F/O) (Watling 56*, Brownlie 50*)

BL Watling reached his third Test fifty with a boundary off Rory Kleinveldt via a cut through gully region. He followed it with another four to midwicket region. On the other hand, Brownlie brought up a fifty of his own with not much fanfare. He took a single off Peterson to reach the landmark. If the Kiwi team manages to show this stubbornness for the remaining time, they might escape with a draw!
====================================================================================

New Zealand: Over: 67 II Score: 157/4 (F/O)

The Kiwis were reeling at 84/4 and from there on, BJ Watling and DG Brownlie have added unbeaten 73 runs for the fifth wicket. The visitors were under tremendous pressure having lost two wickets of consecutive deliveries but Watling (41*) and Brownlie (44*) somehow soaked the pressure and prevented any further damage which would have once again exposed the tail-enders. They have managed to take the match in the third day as they still trail by 247 runs with 6 wickets remaining in the second innings.
