karachi: South African cricketer Ashwell Prince has said that his team will either achieve a 1-0 win over Pakistan or draw the upcoming two-Test series in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Prince, who played 66 Tests Matches for South Africa between 2002 and 2011, became the first non-white captain for South Africa in 2006 when Graeme Smith and Jacques Kallis were both injured.
According to www.PakPassion.net, Prince said that he expected South Africa to win or at worst, manage a draw in the Test series against Pakistan as whenever South Africa play any Test series, they expect to win, adding that the team has the best bowling attack in the world and a quality batting line-up.
Prince also said that South Africa is the number one Test ranked team in the world because they have at least seven players who can arrive at a series and possibly be the player of the series, adding that the other four players that complete the starting eleven would be thinking exactly the same way.
According to Prince, there are no obvious weaknesses except maybe in the spinning department, adding that between all rounder Robin Peterson and JP Duminy, who are expected to be in the starting eleven, the team will perform well in the UAE Test series.
However, Prince also said that it is crucial for South Africa to look out for Pakistani Test and ODI captain Misbah-ul Haq and veteran Younis Khan in the batting department and Junaid Khan, Mohammad Irfan and Saeed Ajmal in the bowling side.
