New Delhi: MS Dhoni's Indian side has been termed as the clear favorite to win the 2016 edition of the Asia Cup.

This year, the continental cup has assumed greater importance due to Asian Cricket Council's decision to alter the format.

For the first time, the Asia Cup is being played in T20 format in order to give the team from continent sufficient match practice ahead of the all-important ICC World T20 in India in March.
