New Delhi: Australia claimed bragging rights after winning the second ODI at the Gabba and take a 2-0 lead in the series. In both matches Australia's bowlers did well to come back in the end and not allow India to get to a much bigger score.

India scored 308 runs from 50 overs as Australia chased down the target with an over to spare. Rohit Sharma continued his excellent run with the bat and brought up his second consecutive 100 in the series. Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane also chipped in with fifties, but in the end it wasn't enough.

Australia's reply saw Aaron Finch, Shaun Marsh and George Bailey score in the seventies to get past the total.

Rohit was adjudged the man-of-the-match award as Asutralia took a 2-0 lead in the ODI series.
