New Delhi: Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli's Pakistan fan found himself in trouble after hoisting Indian flag at his home in Lahore, during the first T20 match between India and Australia on Tuesday.

Poster size photographs of Kohli were also pasted on the walls of his house.

As per the report in PTI, a police official, Muhammad Jamil, said: "We raided the house of Umar Draz and seized the Indian flag from his roof-top."

Officer also added that the police have arrested Draz and registered a case under the Maintenance of Public Order.

However, Draz in his defense told reporters that: "I am a big fan of Virat Kohli. I support the Indian team because of Kohli. Hoisting of Indian flag on the rooftop of house only shows my love for the Indian cricketer."

Later, Draz even requested authorities to pardon him.

He said he should be seen as "an Indian cricketer's fan and not as a spy".
