International cricket to return in Pak after 3 years

It’s good news for Pakistan cricket. Ending months of speculations, Bangladesh cricket board (BCB) on Sunday officially confirmed the International Cricket Council about its tour to Pakistan. Both the teams will play one ODI and a T20 match at the Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore at the end of this month. As per the reports BCB was earlier reluctant to send its team in Pakistan which has not hosted an international match since 2009 due to security apprehensions. Meanwhile Pakistan Cricket Board had tried everything possible to convince the Bangladesh board to send its team to Pakistan for a limited over series. The good news has come after enough discussions between the two boards over the last few weeks. It is huge relief for the board and Pakistan fans as no international team has played there since March, 2009 -- when militants attacked the Sri Lankan team in Lahore, leaving six Pakistani policemen and a van driver dead. The ODI is scheduled for April 29 and the T20I for April 30.
