Electing to bat after winning the toss, Bangladesh scored 204 for the loss of nine wickets in their 50 overs, before restricting Saurashtra at 143 for nine and now lead the two match series 1-0.
Rumana Ahamed top scored for the Bangla team, making 67 runs off 108 balls with seven fours, while Sharmin Supta (34 runs, 84b, 3X4) and Salma Khatun (30 runs, 47b, 1X4) came with with useful contributions. For Saurashtra, Neha Chavda took two wickets conceding 46 runs, whle Krishna Anovadiya and Nandita Adhiya shared a wicket each giving away 17 and 39 runs respectively. In reply, only four Saurashtra eves reached double digits. Bhakti Shastri made 35 (74b, 2X4), while Krishna Anovadiya 22 (26b, 4X4), Neha Chavda 23 (48b, 3X4) and Jayshree Jadeja (14 runs, 44b, 2X4) were the other contributors. Khatun was wrecker-in-chief taking four wickets while giving away only 15 runs in her 10-over spell. Rumana Ahemad and Suktana Rehman took two wickets each.
