London, July 13: The debate over the custody of late King of Pop Michael Jackson’s kids further increased, after it was revealed that a third person might try to claim rights. The ‘Thriller’ hitmaker’s sister La Toya has revealed that her brother had made another will in 2007, in which he might have named someone else as the preferred guardian of his three kids Prince 12, Paris 11, and Blanket 7.
They are currently living with their grandmother, Katherine, after Michael named her as guardian in his 2002 will. La Toya said that Michael actually wanted the kids to live with his eldest sister Rebbie, 59. “Michael always wanted Rebbie to look after his children. He updated his will every five years – so we expect another one to emerge from 2007,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying. It also been reported that Debbie and Katherine had struck a secret deal to stop Michael’s dad, Joe, also 79, having any involvement in the children’s upbringing. ANI
