Bishop says `too much cricket` preventing Windies from producing fast bowlers

West Indian great Ian Bishop has said that it is hard to predict whether the national team can now produce the same quality of fast bowlers that it once had.

Islamabad: West Indian great Ian Bishop has said that it is hard to predict whether the national team can now produce the same quality of fast bowlers that it once had.
In an interview with PakPassion.net, Bishop pointed out that it was going to be very difficult because there is so much cricket being played that someone like Ravi Rampaul, who had been playing all three formats, would not be able to take the body toll. Bishop added that he would love to see that plethora of great fast bowlers, but he thinks its going to be very challenging for that to happen. Since retiring from cricket in 1998, Bishop has forged a successful career as a television commentator and is a familiar face on television screens around the world, the report said.
