Mahela Jayawardene played a brilliant knock of 103 to help Sri Lanka post 274 in the high-voltage World Cup final against India at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
It’s purely due to his knock that Sri Lanka were able to put up 274 despite losing the middle-order when the score was around 150. But Jayawardene, in company of Kulasekara, pull the Lankans out of the wood and at the end post the target which is 20 more than what was expected.
In a high-pressure match like the WC final, it won’t be easy for India to chase down the target and win the World Cup.
We at Zeecric.com would like to know from our readers whether India can chase down the target and become the world beaters.
