Barbara Streisand is writing a book that will showcase her new house.

London, May 29: Singing legend Barbara Streisand is writing a book on architecture that will showcase her new house besides her dream homes.

Barbara will chronicle the design and building of her new home in California and look back at her other dream residences in "A Passion For Design", reported contactmusic.com. The book is expected to hit stores in December next year and will be the culmination and reflection of Barbara`s love of American architecture. "Designing and building for me is about the creative process and transformation. One of the reasons I haven`t made a movie since 2004 is because this last house was a five-year, full-time job. Now that it`s done, I`m thrilled to share it," said the 67-year-old star. IANS
