After all the drama, Mitchell Marsh lofted two sixes of the last two balls to give Perth Scorchers an improbable win at Mohali. Frylinck did everything right until those two balls. Marsh's innings figure read 40 runs from 26 balls with three fours and two sixes. On the other hand, before the final over, Frylinck's figure read 17 runs from three overs.

Bowling change did the trick for Dolphins. Cameron Delport struck in his first ball. The over started in ominous fashion for the fielding team with Simmong launching the second ball for a six. Van Jaarsveld's valiant attempt at boundary line failed to work. Then, after two singles Delport took a return catch to remove dangerous Simmons. The Aussie batsman departed two shy of a worthy 50. But he played his part.

A huge over for Scorchers with Simmons punishing Smit. Simmons started the over with a straight six, then followed it up with four towards square leg. It just fell short of the boundary. Then, three singles and a couple made it 15. They now need 104 runs from 66 balls.

Frylinck continued his impressive bowling. He conceded six runs in the second spell. Scorcher require 133 more runs from 14 overs and the asking rate is climbing ever so teasingly.

After the departure of Voges, Craig Simmons assumed the role of leadership and soon started leatherhunt. He milked Alexander for 12 runs in the fifth over. They still require 139 runs from the remaining 15 overs.

Kyle Abbott is bowling a dream spell. After the impressive opening over, he removed Scorchers skipper Voges with a beauty in his second over. Besides, the over went for a single, making it a super super over.

A big over coasted Dolphins to a a good total. Frylinck started the over with a six over cover boundary, then completed the innings with another. In between, with Zondo, he milked four singles. Arafat, who is known for his death over bowling skills, failed this time. In his four overs, he conceded 42 runs, with a return of two wickets.

Paris completed his quota of four overs with a seven-run over. It's been a pleasure to watch his bowling. He has taken two wickets, conceding only 21 runs. For Dolphins, Zondo has been rock solid. In his 48-ball innings so far, the right hander has compiled 61, including seven hits to the fence.

Arafat broke the dangerous looking partnership by removing Phehlukwayo. The Pakistani bowler produced a perfect yorker to dismantle the stumps. Zondo-Phehlukwayo  partnership produced 44 runs in good time.

Zondo is playing a superb innings. The 24-year-old has completed a half-century of 41 balls. Behrendorff, in his allotted four overs, has conceded 46 runs. Of the six overs used today for Scorchers, he is the most expensive despite taking three wickets.

After a long time, Paris returned with the ball. And conceded six runs, all singles starting with a leg bye. His bowling figure so far reads, 3-14-3 and has been the pick of the lot today.

Behrendorff is proving the trump card for Scorchers. Sure, he did concede runs but taking wickets. In his third over, the 24-year-old got the better of van Jaarsveld. Joel Paris got the catch at mid-off and made up for his early mistakes in fielding.

​But soon, Zondo launched the attack hitting the left arm fast bowler for two successive fours, then after a single, in the final ball of the over, newly arrived Phehlukwayo found another four.

Finally a good over for the batting side. Hogg leaked eight valuable runs in his final over. Playing a handy knock for Dolphins is Zondo, who is on 28 from 31 balls.

Marsh returned for Scorchers. In his third over, the Aussie all-rounder leaked six runs. Both Zondo and van Jaarsveld did try to score some good runs but failed to take initiative against a discipline bowling.

Hogg continued and in his third over, the left-arm chinaman bowler conceded six runs as the Perth side looked to consolidate their position in the match. With eight overs still remaining in the innings, a couple of bad overs could help Dolphins back in the hunt.

Arafat got his man. After hitting a six over the long-on boundary, Smit was trying to play smart. However, he was adjudged LBW after trying to make some room against a good lenght ball from Arafat. The over went for eight runs though, thanks to that first ball six.

Another superb over from the Australian side. 44-year-old Hogg made up for his expensive first over with a three-run over. That's some experience hand. With the first half of the first innings gone, Dolphins would like to increase the tempo a bit.

A superb over from Marsh, giving away only four runs. Marsh was successful in keeping the the South African batsmen quite with his accurate slow balls.

Ever affable Brad Hogg got his first over. The old hand conceded nine runs with Smith and Zondo rotating the strike. Smit also found a four in the fourth ball.

Perth skipper Adam Voges introduced Ashton Agar for the first time and 20-year-old left-arm orthodox bowler conceded seven runs. Daryn Smit, who arrived after the fall of Maharaj, is looking in good touch having played three balls for his five runs.

Another productive over for Dolphins. In Mitchell Marsh's first over, they milked 11 runs which included two fours and two doubles, all to Maharaz. Zondo did the right thing by taking a single off the first ball.

After a poor start, the South African side has restored some sanity in the innings with Keshav Maharaj  and Khaya Zondo in center. For Perth Scorchers​, Pakistan bolwer Yasir Arafat has got his first over completed. he gave away eight runs.

Australia's Perth Scorchers, boasting many a proven performer in their ranks, will start as favorites when they take on South African team Dolphins in a clash of two non-IPL teams in the Champion League Twenty20.

For the Scorchers, a lot will depend on Adam Voges and the top order batsman will look to come good on the Mohali track. Mitchell Marsh has the ability to tear apart the rival bowling attack.

The Australian side also has experienced campaigner in Brad Hogg, who seems to be getting better with age. Nathan Coulter-Nile has shown already his all-round abilities and can prove useful for the team.

On the other hand, Dolphins, apart from Kyle Abott and skipper Morne van Wyk, have little known faces in their side that include players such as Craig Alexander, Cody Chetty, Cameron Delport and Keshav Maharaj.

However, not having big names in world cricket doesn't dampen the sprits of Dolphins, who are eyeing to win the Champions League T20.
