Washington, June 05: Superstar Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, has topped a new list of the most powerful person in the rap world.The ‘99 Problems’ hitmaker, who is married to Beyonce Knowles, has landed the top spot on rap magazine The Source`s Power 30 list.
Jay-Z topped the list due to his due to his business ventures with Live Nation and Rocawear and his part-ownership of the New Jersey Nets basketball team.
Also making the list were P Diddy, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Lil Wayne, reports Contactmusic.
President Barack Obama got an honourable mention for his influence on the new hip-hop generation.
