Clarke hopes to play tour match against West Indies Cricket Board President`s XI
Barbados: Australian captain Michael Clarke expects to feature in the three-day tour match against the West Indies Cricket Board President`s XI in Barbados.
"The hamstring is coming along well. If all goes well at training tomorrow, I will be playing in our tour game starting Monday,” The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Clarke as saying
Clarke added he was excited about his Indian Premier League deal with the Pune Warriors but his focus was to help his team play some "great Test cricket".
He was ruled of one- day series against the West Indies after suffering a right hamstring during Australia`s second one-day final against Sri Lanka in Adelaide.
He had to qualify a fitness test before being cleared to travel to the Caribbean for a three-Test series against the Windies.
