Their innings was built largely on the contributions made by Sangakkara, who remained unbeaten on 127* and Chandimal who scored 102 runs. For Bangladesh Hossain and Islam took 2 wickets each. ==================================================================================== SRI LANKA(1st innings) Score: 259/4 II Overs: 80 (Sangakarra: 108*, Chandimal: 102*) Sri Lanka are in the driver’s seat now. They have taken a lead of 19 runs and both Sangakkara and Chandimal have struck centuries. The current partnership is now worth 190 runs. He reached the landmark with a boundary off Gazi to midwicket region. Sanga is in superb touch. He already has scored two centuries in this series. Off the 41st over, Chandimal struck three boundaries off Gazi - the first to mid-on, the second to midwicket while the third through covers. The lunch has been taken on the second day of the Colombo Test. The 24th over was a maiden. Off the 26th Sanga scored a boundary to fine leg. The latest to depart was their captain Angelo Mathews who was dismissed by Sohag Gazi. He was dismissed after being caught at slip by Mahmudullah. Ealrier, Dimuth Karunaratne became the second Lankan wicket to fall after he was caught by wicketkeeper Rahim off pacer Abul Hasan. He scored 17 (26b, 4X2). Lahiru Thirimanne soon followed him to the pavilion after edging one from Robiul Islam to keeper Rahim. Bangladesh got the breakthrough they needed and t was the dangerous Dilshan who played a rash stroke to get himself out.
