#Mumbai: Overs: 44 Score: 100/4 (Rahane 44*, Kulkarni 1*) Stumps. Mumbai end the day after scoring 100/3 in 44 overs. Earlier, Mohit Sharma broke the fourth wicket stand between Nayar and Rahane by removing the former in the 41st over. Nayar was out after being caught by Yadav. He scored 24 (60b). Dhawal Kulkarni came in to bat next. That was a wicket-maiden over. Off the following over, Rahane scored a boundary which was the only scoring shot in it. The next was a maiden while the 44th – the last of the day – resulted in two runs. Mumbai are still trailing Haryana by 34 runs with six wickets in hand. ==================================================================================== #Mumbai: Overs: 40 Score: 94/3 (Rahane 39*, Nayar 24*) The 31st over by Joginder was a maiden. The next also went quietly without any disturbance to the scoreboard. 33rd and 34th resulted in two runs – one each. Rahane scored his sixth boundary in the 36th over and his seventh came in the 38th over. Off the 39th over, came 10 runs including two boundaries to Nayar – through point and to fine leg. Tendulkar suffered an early dismissal at the hands of Mohit Sharma in the 21st over after being bowled. He scored 5 (7b, 4X1). Abhishek Nayar came in to bat next. Just one run and a wicket from the over. The following over was a maiden. Rahane broke the deadlock in the 26th over driving Rana’s third delivery through covers for four. In the next over, bowled by Patel, Nayar and Rahane collected a boundary apiece. Nine came from it. The next two boundaries were scored by Rahane in the 28th and 30th over. ==================================================================================== #Mumbai: Overs: 19 Score: 36/2 (Rahane 7*, Tendulkar 4*) Tea. Mohit Sharma was brought back into the attack in the 11th over and he bowled a maiden. Hooda got the first breakthrough for Haryana after cleaning up Pawar off the second delivery of the 13th over. He scored 8 (33b, 4X1). His departure brought Ajinkya Rahane to the crease. That was a wicket-maiden over. Rahane scored his first boundary in the 18th over thanks to a leading edge. Joginder Sharma was introduced into the attack and he immediately struck removing Wasim Jaffer off his first delivery. Jaffer departed after being caught by Khod. He scored 14 (59b, 4X1). His departure resulted in the crowd raising hell as Sachin Tendulkar made his way to the middle. ==================================================================================== #Mumbai: Overs: 10 Score: 16/0 (Jaffer 8*, Pawar 6*) Mohit Sharma and Harshal Patel shared the new ball as Wasim Jaffer and Kaustubh Pawar opened the innings for the visitors. The first three were maiden overs. Pawar scored the first boundary of the Mumbai innings in the in the fourth over that also was the first scoring shot. The next two overs resulted in four runs – two in each. The seventh was a maiden. Jaffer was dropped off the third delivery of the ninth over, bowled by Hood. Haryana were finally bowled out for 134 after Mohit Sharma was trapped in front by Dabholkar. He missed his fifty by just one run. Only four Haryana batsmen managed to register scores in double digits. Sharma top scored with 49 while for Mumbai Nayar took 4/38 in 10 overs. ==================================================================================== #Haryana: Overs: 35 Score: 134/9 ( Sharma 49*, Hooda 6*) Mohit Sharma is playing an entertaining knock here after the failure of Haryana’s top order today against Mumbai attack. Mohit Sharma provided some entertainment to the crowd and has hit seven boundaries so far. He is the reason the home team managed to go past 100-run mark. Half of the home side is in the pavilion now. Rana scored just 2. Harshal Patel is the new batsman in the middle. Abhimanyu Khod became Javed Khan’s second victim of the morning after being caught by Kulkarni in the 17th over. He scored 27 (41b). Joginder Sharma is the new man in the middle. Patel scored the first six of the match off Nayar’s first delivery of the 18th over. Nayar cleaned up Joginder Sharma off the third delivery of the 20th over. He scored 3 (9b). He picked up his third wicket in Harshal Patel off the fifth delivery by having him caught by wicketkeeper Aditya Tare. He scored 10 (9b). He scored 14 (27b) before departing. Sachin Rana is the new man in the middle. The defending champions` match against the hosts assumes significance as this will be the champion batsman`s final competitive outing ahead of next month`s Test series against the West Indies, which will culminate with the second game in Mumbai, where Tendulkar will bring the curtain down on a glorious 24-year tryst with international cricket.
