Sibanda sealed nail-biting match by smashing a six off the last ball of the match. And with that, Zimbabwe beat Netherlands by five wickets. For the match-winning knock Taylor was given the Man of the Match award. First, he got the better of dangerous looking Masakadza, who got out after scoring 43 runs in 45 balls and then after a gap of one ball he made Chigumbura his next victim who got out for a two ball duck. Now in the last five overs Zimbabwe need 46 runs in 30 balls. B Taylor is still in the middle, so Zimbabwe have a chance to pull this off. B Taylor and Masakadza have started scoring briskly. In the 10th over bowled by Cooper, both the batsmen launched the bowler for a six. Now Zimbabwe required 75 runs to win the match in last ten overs. =================================================== Over 5 || Score 26/1 While chasing a challenging total of 140, Zimbabwe have got off to a slow start and on top of it have lost their one opener in the form of Sikandar Raza. Sikandar Raza c Seelaar b Jamil 13 (12b) =================================================== Netherlands Innings Over 20 || Score 140/5 Thanks to a late onslaught, Holland posted a respectable total of 140 from their allotted 20 overs. 27-year-old Tom Cooper scored an unbeaten 72 from 58 balls to frustrate the Zimbabweans. Despite making initial inroads in the Dutch batting line-up, the Zimbabweans allowed the batting side escape with a fighting total. =================================================== Over 15 || Score 95/5 In the last five overs, Holland scored 33 runs and lost the wicket of Ben Cooper, who was giving company to his more explosive brother Tom. Natsai Mushangwe provided the breakthrough in the 14th over of the match, enticing the Dutch batsman to play a lofted shot, which was taken by Tinashe Panyangara at long on boundary for a catch. Have removed two Netherlands batsmen in the first two overs. Stephan Myburgh lbw b Utseya 0 (1b) Wesley Barresi b Panyangara 12 (6b) Prosper Utseya first removed Stephan Myburgh off the third ball of the innings, thanks to a contentious LBW decision. Then, in the very next over, Tinashe Panyangara compounded the Dutch woes by removing wicket-keeper batsman Wesley Barresi with a beautiful angled-ball, which castled the stumps. =================================================== Toss: The Netherlands have won the toss and will bat first at Sylhet. Well, today, there`s every chance of Zimbabwe joining the Associate team from Far East in the early casualty list. After losing their opening match in the last ball to Ireland, the African team would like to make a strong comeback... for two simple reasons: to avoid an early exit from one of cricket`s show-piece events and more importantly, to keep their honour as a Test playing nation. Tight matches happen. But losing to an Associate team was such a bane for the Zimbabweans that repeating such a debacle will only harm their image as a cricketing nation – which has endured some hard times in recent times. Meanwhile, a confident Dutch outfit is eager to show the world that they are, despite the `associate` tag, are no push-overs, especially in the shortest formats of the game.
