New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, congratulated Team India after their win over South Africa at the ICC World Cup 2015 in Melbourne.

Mr. Modi also said that the team had made the nation proud yet again.

PM took to social micro blogging site Twitter to express his sentiments.

Great performance. Well played. Congrats Team India. You make us proud yet again. — Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) February 22, 2015

After beating the Proteas by 130 runs, India now lead Pool B with 4 points after playing 2 games.

The momentum is now with the defending champions going forward into the tournament.
