They lost all three matches against Oman, United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan in the qualifying stage of Asia Cup 2016.

The only player to have impressed in the qualifying round was Babar Hayat, who slammed a brilliant ton (122) against Oman and followed it with scores of 54 and 18. The team will have high hopes from the 24-year-old, who has an impressive batting average of 34 in T20Is.

The onus of scoring big runs will be on Ryan Campbell, the 43-year-old who is making an international comeback after 14 years! Campbell, who is also Hong Kong's batting coach, last played for Australia in 2002.

Campbell wasn't in Hong Kong's Asia Cup squad and considering his experience, he will be a big player to watch out for from this team.

Their bowlers leaked plenty of runs in the Asia Cup qualifiers and it is an area they need to work upon.

Hong Kong will then kick off their World T20 campaign with a first-round match against Zimbabwe in Nagpur on March 8.
