T20 World Cup 2016: India cricket team Preview – MS Dhoni's side looks set for another ICC title

New Delhi: Needless to say, based on the form of their players and also considering the home advantage, Men in Blue are favorites to win the tournament.

Compared to other teams, India have had some good practice in the shortest format of the game where the team won two back-to-back T20I series against Australia and Sri Lanka recently.

Since the beginning of the year, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli have been in sublime form and even though he has lacked consistency, Shikhar Dhawan is a major force on Asian pitches. Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni are all experienced campaigners in the middle-order.

Hardik Pandya has emerged out as one of the most talented players in Indian cricket lately and his all-round skills have been praised by several experts.

In the bowling department, India have two unique pacers in Ashish Nehra and Jasprit Bumrah. While the former has years of experience under his belt, Bumrah's unorthodox action and ability to bowl pin-pint yorkers makes him a tough nut to crack.

R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja bowled several match-winning spells on Indian pitches last year and this duo is expected to play a decisive role for the team in the tournament.
