New Delhi: In the past, Bangladesh have stunned some of the most reputed opponents in major tournaments.

The Mashrafe Mortaza-led side has a huge fan following across the world and they would be keen to add to that base with a good show in the ICC World T20.

Tamim Iqbal, who was in sensational form in the qualifiers, is one of their most senior players and how well Bangladesh perform in the series will depend a lot on his individual performances. Mahmudullah had a memorable World Cup last year and it is crucial from Bangaldesh's perspective that he does well in the shorter version too.

Mushfiqur Rahim and Bangladesh's superstar Shakib Al Hasan will have huge responsibility on their shoulders to do most of the scoring in the batting department.

Barring Shakib, Bangladesh miss out on another quality seamer and it is one area of concern for the team.

The pace department is a formidable one, as the troika of Mashrafe Mortaza, Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rehman have performed quite well in the last one year.
