New Delhi: Moments after India completed a 4-0 drubbing of England in their five-match series on Tuesday, celebrated British journalist Piers Morgan hailed Virat Kohli and his brilliant team.

Morgan, known as former India opener Virender Sehwag's bete noire, took to Twitter to hailed the victorious team while deriding England team. In the tweet, he also called for England captain Alastair Cook's head.

On the final day of fifth and final Test match at Chennai's iconic Chepauk, Ravindra Jadeja wrecked havoc, taking seven English wickets to give India an innings an 75-run win.

Later in the day, Morgan in a separate tweet said that banning Kevin Pietersen was a massive mistake from ECB and his message was to clearly replace Cook with KP.

He wrote, in response to a question from a from a fan.

Interestingly, KP was let go by his Indian Premier League franchise recently, and many England fans argued that the former captain may not, at all, save the their team.

The visitors collapsed from 103 without loss to 207 all out on a Chennai top, which many considered a top-class sporting pitch. England have now lost six of their last eight Tests.

After India won the series in Mumbai, Chennai Test was reduced to a dead rubber. But both the teams produced brilliant five days of Test cricket, which witnessed 1443 runs being scored with India posting their biggest ever innings total.

The match will also be remembered for Karun Nair, who became only the second Indian batsman to score a triple-hundred after Sehwag.
