Virat Kohli's 81-run knock: Here's how Virender Sehwag reacted to it

New Delhi: Virat Kohli played a captain's knock on Sunday to help India post a fighting total of 204 runs in their second innings of the second Test against England at Visakhapatnam. With a 200-run first innings lead, India set a improbable target of 405-run target for the visiting team.

Reacting to Kohli's 109-ball 81-run knock, former India opener Virender Sehwag hailed, in his typical style, that the India captain has undergone a superb “servicing”.

This minimalistic Twitter post can be read with a previous comment made by Sehwag on Kohli's 28th birthday, in which the Nawab of Najafgarh used "auto/taxi" as a point of reference.

Today, Indian batting line-up failed to dominate the English bowlers, and the innings lasted only 63.1 overs for a lowly 204, thus giving England a fourth innings target 405 runs. Kohli was the top scorer yet again. He scored 167 in the first innings.

At stumps on Day 4, England were 87/2 after 59.2 overs' play, still needing 318 more runs. England lost both their openers Alastair Cook (54 off 188 balls) and Haseeb Hameed (25 off 144), falling to Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin respectively.

The first match of the five-Tests series at Rajkot ended in a draw.
