WATCH: WOAH! How Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli greeted each other during first training session

New Delhi: Gautam Gambhir's inclusion in India's squad for the second Test came as a pleasant surprise for the batsman's fans.

An injury to KL Rahul forced the team management's hand at recalling the Delhi captain to the Test team after a gap of two years.

With Gambhir's return, there was a lot of talk with regards to his equation with skipper Virat Kohli. 

Both feisty characters have had several altercations on the field over the years in the Indian Premier League.

Kohli was also accused by a section of fans for sidelining Gambhir despite his brilliant form in domestic cricket.

At the moment, there is no clarity as to who among Gambhir and Shikhar Dhawan will be pair up with Murali Vijay.

But Gambhir being recalled certainly suggests that Kohli puts team's interests above all else.

This was further confirmed after the first visuals of India's training session at Eden Gardens emerged.

Virat and Gambhir were seen joking and enjoying the company of each other.

BCCI wasted no time in capturing the moment and publishing it on Twitter in a bid to quell all speculation about a Gambhir-Kohli rift.
