Durban: South African legend Jacques Kallis took his 200th catch against India on the second day of the second Test match at Kingsmead, Durban on Friday. Kallis, who is playing his last Test match, achieved the feat when he took the catch of Ravindra Jadeja off JP Duminy. Kallis has been an exceptional fielder for South Africa in the slip cordon and the Proteas would obviously miss his presence there once the legend retires from Test cricket. Kallis`s retirement came as a surprise for the cricket fans across the world as most of them wanted to see him play against Australia in the upcoming series. The 38-year-old was lacking form as he scored just 34 runs from two innings and was dismissed for a first-ball duck in the first innings by lanky Indian pacer Ishant Sharma. Even in the recently concluded Test series against Pakistan, the Proteas all-rounder couldn`t do much and had a poor show with the bat. Notably, Kallis made his Test debut against England in 1995 at Kingsmead. He has scored 44 centuries and 58 half-centuries from 165 Tests.
