After thrashing South Africa, India jump to 2nd place in ICC Test rankings

New Delhi: More good news was in store for Virat Kohli after leading India to a 3-0 series win over South Africa.

His side jumped to second spot in the ICC Test rankings behind the beaten Proteas.

Before the series started, India ranked 4th on table with 100 points.

The 3-0 series win saw them move to second with 110 points.

This was Kohli's debut series as captain on home soil.

Ajinkya Rahane and Ravichandran Ashwin were declared Man of the Match and series respectively for the 4th Test.
