AB de Villers to miss RCB’s IPL opener
South African ODI captain AB de Villiers, who tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Danielle Swart on Saturday, is all set to miss Royal Challengers Bangalore’s opening match in the Indian Premiere League to be played on April 4, due to domestic commitments.

Bangalore: South African ODI captain AB de Villiers, who tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Danielle Swart on Saturday, is all set to miss Royal Challengers Bangalore’s opening match in the Indian Premiere League to be played on April 4, due to domestic commitments.
De Villiers will turn out for Titans` semi-final clash against Warriors in the South African domestic tournament Ram Slam T20 series on April 3.
If Titans advance to the finals, to be played on April 7, de Villiers will also miss RCB’s second match slated to be played on the same day.
Tamil Nadu wicketkeeper-batsman KB Arun Karthik will don the gloves in de Villiers’ absence.
