Mumbai Indians are right there on the top of the rankings table and they would want to extend their points tally as they take on Rajasthan Royals.
While Sachin Tendulkar scored some runs in the previous match, the ‘Pondulkar’ duo still hasn’t lived up to the expectations. Their middle-order has become a force to reckon with Dinesh Karthik, Rohit Sharma, Pollard and Rayudu all scoring runs for the team at regular intervals. Lasith Malinga who missed the first two games has had a quite IPL so far after picking two wickets from as many matches. It’s a rarity not to see his name in the highest wicket takers list and Malinga himself would be eager to get there.
Meanwhile Rajasthan Royals who have won four out of nine matches against Mumbai Indians would want to improve their record against the star-studded side. The Royals are one of the best side in the tournament as they have a balanced side which has some of the best Indian players unlike most of the teams who are heavily dependent on their foreign players. A big knock from Watson is due and this could be the match for him.
