====================================================================================
The Hyderabad team is back with a new name and they are up against a weaker side Pune Warriors who had a disappointing season last year. They have retained Kumar Sangakkara as their skipper and apart from that they have some promising players who can help them put a good show in the sixth edition. Amit Mishra is among the top four highest wicket takers in IPL history and Ishant Dale Steyn is currently the no. 1 bowler in the ICC rankings.
Pune Warriors will be led by Angelo Mathews who was selected as the skipper after Michael Clarke was ruled out of the tournament due to an injury. The Warriors who ended up being at the bottom under the captaincy of Sourav Ganguly last year will be keen to hit the fit and silence their critics. Mathews is an all-rounder and is a force to reckon with and with Indian players like Yuvraj Singh and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar in their side, the team can hope for a better show this year.
Players to watch out for:
Sunrisers Hyderabad: They might have a new name, but once again, there will a huge responsibility on the shoulders of Sri Lankan veteran Kumar Sangakkara who has been retained as the skipper of the team. Sanga has some in-form Indian bowlers in his squad but he for sure will have to lead from the front.
Pune Warriors: There are very few players who are as dangerous as Yuvraj Singh in the shorter version of the game. Yuvi has been in some fine touch in ODIs and T20’s for Team India and Pune would want to rock in the sixth edition with bat as well as the ball.
