Rising Pune Supergiants beat Kings XI Punjab by four wickets in their last match of the Indian Premier League's ninth edition. Batting first, Kings XI Punjab scored 172 for seven in the stipulated 20 overs, and then Rising Pune Supergiants chased down the target in the last ball of the match.

Welcome to our LIVE UPDATES of the 53rd match of the Indian Premier League's ninth edition, which is being played between Rising Pune Supergiants and Kings XI Punjab at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.
Supergiants are coming into the contest after a victory over Delhi Daredevils at the same venue, their home ground, while Punjab have lost their last two outings -- against RCB and table-toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad.
For Punjab, it was a repeat of the previous seasons. Neither a change in captaincy nor the late addition of a overseas players could lift the team.
But today they will take field for the last time this season, knowing that they have nothing to lose, going out of the event with a win is what both the teams would be hoping for.
