Mohit Sharma is back. He bowled a slower one to Surya, he hit it high towards long-on where Dwayne Bravo ran and took an incredible low catch. That looked mind blowing, however there could have been a big collision between him and Faf who was running from mid-off. Ryan ten Doeschate is the new man in. Four from the over and a wicket, for which Bravo deserves more credit than the bowler.

Raina to continue. 5 from the over. KKR are putting them under some sort of pressure as Ashwin, Jadeja and Raina are getting through their overs very quickly without giving boundaries.

Over 11 | Score 71/3

Jadeja to bowl his third over. Just one from the over. Even though they aren't chasing a big target, KKR cannot just go around scoring 2-3 runs every over.

Over 10 | Score 70/3

This is a slow track and thus Dhoni has brought Raina into the attack now. Another economical over, just 3 runs off it.

Over 9 | Score 67/3

Jadeja to continue. Just three from the over. 68 runs needed from 11 overs. KKR need not panic and if they bat through the 20 overs, they will for sure reach there easily.

Over 8 | Score 64/2

Ashwin to continue. He once again offered flight, Manish slog-swept it straight to Bravo at deep midwicket. Poor shot, there was no need for such a stroke and it would only add more pressure on the batsmen to follow. Yusuf Pathan is the new man in. Three from the over and another crucial wicket for Ashwin.

Uthappa-Gambhir to open for KKR, and surprise is that Ishwar Pandey will bowl the first over. Uthappa was off the mark off the first ball with a single towards covers. Pandey bowled a straight ball to Gambhir, who was looking to guide it towards third man but edged it straight to Dhoni. Manish Pandey is the new man in. Ishwar bowled a length ball to Manish who drove it through extra-cover for a boundary. Exactly the kind of start CSK were looking for!

G Gambhir c Dhoni b Pandey 0 (1b)

This a below par score considering the batting powerhouse CSK are. KKR have done well to restrict them for such a paltry score and since the wicket is keeping slow, both Ashwin and Jadeja can prove to be handy on this track.

TOSS: KKR won the toss and Gautam Gambhir decided to bowl first.

KKR would be in a spot of bother as Sunil Narine – their maverick spinner was reported for suspect action once again and in case he doesn't play against CSK, they will face a tough task of getting through those four overs. Gambhir has been in sublime form for them this season and the likes of Robin Uthappa, Andre Russell and Yusuf Pathan will have to crank their performances up by a few notches to do well against a quality side like Chennai.

CSK, on the other hand, have been in terrific form where they have won five out of six matches. Brendon McCullum and Dwayne Smith have been in stupendous form at the top of the order where they have demolished the best of the bowling attacks with their big-hitting skills.

The Spin department was an area of concern for MS Dhoni, but both Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin were back in form in their previous encounter against Kings XI Punjab and KKR would be wary of the damage these two can cause.
