IPL 2015, Match 10, KXIP vs DD: Players to watch out for

New Delhi: The JP Duminy-led Delhi Daredevils are set to play against George Bailey's boys in their Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter today at the neutral venue of Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.

After losing both their opening matches this season, Delhi are on the verge of creating an unwanted record of losing 12 IPL matches on the bounce.

Delhi remained unlucky on both their enthralling encounters which went to the last ball. However, tonight they would love to break the win-less streak and add two points to their kitty.

On the other hand, batting powerhouse KXIP bounced back after losing their first match to Rajasthan Royals to defeat Mumbai Indians at their home ground.

Last time runner-ups, KXIP, haven't quite played with the aggressive intent thus far, which won them many hearts last season. But it seems as if they are slowly and steadily getting into the groove.

Both the sides have many big hitters at their disposal. But in this match, Punjab have a slight upper hand.

Here are the two players to watch out for in today's encounter.

Glenn Maxwell: Though, KXIP have a string of match-winners in their arsenal but Australian swashbuckling batsman Glenn Maxwell certainly tops the chart. In the last two matches, Maxi got out cheaply. It means a big knock is due from the 26-year old, who emerged as the biggest entertainer with the bat last season. Once he gets going, bowlers look clueless as he can hit the ball all over the park, with the help of his highly innovative batting style.

Yuvraj Singh: The costliest player during the IPL 8 auction, Yuvraj is yet to justify his tag, as on the last two occasions he couldn't play up to the expectations and only scored 9 and 27 respectively. He is undoubtedly one of the most dangerous players in the shortest format of the game and has the ability to turn the tables single handedly. In the match against his former franchise, Punjab, all eyes would be on the southpaw.
