New Delhi: In the 6th match of Indian Premier League's ninth edition, debutants Gujarat Lions are up against fellow new entrants Rising Pune Supergiants at the Saurashtra Cricket Association in Rajkot.

Both the teams have got off to a winning note in this IPL season and will be wary of the firepower each side possesses and that in turn could see the game being termed as an enthralling tie.

There are plenty of superstars in both sides as a lot of fans will be looking forward to this tie given the household names in Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Suresh Raina leading their respective sides out.

Both teams comprise players from suspended sides Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. Therefore the familiarity will be a dividend factor.

With several top notch entities looking to make their mark, here are few players to watch out for in this defining tie.

Aaron Finch (Gujarat Lions): The Australian opener played a significant role in the side's victory in the opening match against KXIP. Finch's ability to pace his innings superbly is a positive factor for the hosts and they will look up to him in providing a superb platfform upfront.

Dwayne Bravo (Gujarat Lions): Bravo's presence in the side is a crucial factor for Gujarat. The West Indies all-rounder played the match governing role against KXIP with his two wickets in a single over to change fortunes of the game, Lions will want another stellar role from him.

Kevin Pietersen (Rising Pune Supergiants): The English outcast will get much needed confidence after a brief unbeaten stay at the crease in the previous encounter and KP will be eyeing some more time to showcase his hard-hitting skills that can take the game away from Gujarat.

R Ashwin (Rising Pune Supergiants): Dhoni limited Ashwin to just a single over against Mumbai Indians despite the bowler bagging a wicket. Ashwin's game is well known by his skipper and one can expect the spinner to be the focal role against Lions. His partnership with Murugan will be key.
