New Delhi: Virat Kohli on Saturday became the first ever player to hit three hundreds in a single season of Indian Premier League as he and Virat Kohli helped Royal Challengers Bangalore to a record 144-run win over Gujarat Lions.

His every single runs, and hundreds have been celebrated by India fans. But the applause that the 27-year received from a packed Chinnaswamy Stadium crowd in Bangalore today was overwhelming, to say the least.
