Melbourne: Australian Test cricket team captain Michael Clarke has named Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar as one of the toughest opponents that he has played against in his career so far.

Alongside Tendulkar, he also named Shane Warne, Brian Lara, Glenn McGrath and Jacques Kallis in the list, reports News.com.au.

While responding to questions ranging from his favourite cricketer to his favourite soup, Clarke told fans on Twitter that former West Indian Lara was his all-time favourite.

On being asked to name the most untidy cricketer in the Australian team, Clarke said Ricky Ponting.

The 34-year-old named English cricketer Andrew Flintoff as the best bowler and former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar as the quickest bowler he had ever faced.

Clarke is set to lead Australia in tonight's First Test against the West Indies in Dominca.
