In an interview with pakpassion.net, Azharullah said that he began playing in England as an overseas player but got married there in 2009 and settled in the UK permanently in 2010. However, the player said that playing cricket in England did not seem new to him as he had played Twenty20 cricket even in Pakistan and there were tough sportsmen in both the countries.
